Field of view (FOV)

Change FOV scaling method[citation needed]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open BaseEngine.ini.
  3. Modify AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainXFOV to AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV and save the file.

Notes

This will change the axis the FOV is constrained by. Beyond this edit there is currently no other way to modify the FOV further.

High frame rate

Disable frame rate smoothing[citation needed]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open UDKEngine.ini.
  3. Go to line 1117 and change bSmoothFrameRate=True to bSmoothFrameRate=False
  4. Save your changes.

Issues unresolved

Highlight effect glitch

The highlight effect is glitched on some AMD cards. Users reported this on the following cards: R9 Fury, R9 290, R9 290X, R9 390X (check thread for complete list). Issue reported to both devs and AMD, as can be read in the Steam community discussion. No known fix or workaround.[1]
