Issues unresolved

Unresponsive controls

Some users may experience controls being unresponsive, where the game fails to detect that a key has been released. Some users perceive it as "drifting".[1] Tapping the associated key or button should return the behavior back to normal.

The issue does not occur with a controller.

Issues fixed

Broken sounds for and missing visual feedback of car's Nitro

This issue effectively disabled the use of nitro, with no noticeable increases of speed or depletion of nitro meter; and missing visual feedback elements on vehicle showing Nitro was active. Additionally, attempting to use Nitro would result in a very unpleasant distorted sound. This issue is fixed with a forced FPS cap.
  1. Make a profile for deathtrack.exe within your respective graphics card software.
  2. Force an fps cap of 60 within the profile.[2]
V-sync is not required.
Fix applies to retail and Steam versions of the game.
