Topic on Talk:Intel Arc Control

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000088086/graphics/intel-arc-dedicated-graphics-family.html

One would be compelled to just assume that you have three major branches: the new "we are serious this time" Arc driver, and then the older "business as usual it's not like we are getting chosen for might or features anyway" ones (except one is DCH, while the more ancient one has roots all the way back to the original Intel Graphics [and Media] Control Panel of GMA memory).

Yet there's no real discontinuity at least build-number-wise, and super big changes (like Xe cards gaining back "native" D3D9) are just a few digits bumps. Sometimes they don't even seem to be in-the-know themselves, given there are 25.20.100.*** packages still legacy-only (god knows who decided to nickname that "DC")

p.s. please be VERY wary of not confusing 11th Generation processors with Gen11 graphics
