Oni is a game developed by Bungie and produced by Rockstar, heavily influenced by Ghost in the Shell.

Just wanted to post the fix I found because it took me an hour or two to find it. Running Windows 7 64bit, Oni was crashing right as the intro cinematic ended, whether by finishing, or me clicking to skip it. Win7 was telling me it crashed, not Oni. Anyway, after trying many different things, I finally found that this patch: http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/4/13/979221//Oni.exe-Patched.zip worked. I extracted the oni.exe file and replaced the oni.exe file that was there AND I told it to run in Windows XP (service pack 3) compatibility mode. (Right click the .exe and click properties.)

I found the fix in this forum http://oni.bungie.org/community/forum/viewforum.php?id=3 on this thread http://oni.bungie.org/community/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1554. If you're having a different problem, that's a good place to check.
