EXE Parameters

At the end of a LegoRR.exe shortcut target, parameters can be added to change the game. A full list is available at the Rock Raiders United wiki, but here are the major ones:

• -cleansaves - Deletes all saved games.
• -programmer - Allows the LEGO Media movie to be skipped.
• -fpslock - Enables VSync.
• -testlevels - Unlocks every level.
• -window - Allows the game to be launched in a window when in 16-bit colour mode.
• -best - Disables prelaunch prompt.
• -ftm - This makes the videocard use all available texture memory. Also turns off game lighting. Lighting still effects game models.
• -debug - Allows resolutions up to 1024x768, but crashes on everything greater than 640x480.

Issues and Fixes

"The program can't start because d3drm.dll is missing"

The Rock Raiders CD is required for this.

The dll required can also be downloaded from the internet, but this method eliminates the risk of getting a virus.

Instructions

"No DirectX 3D accelerator could be found" (Windows 7/8)

This also fixes cutscenes not playing and a low FPS issue.
