Half-Life 2 runs on the Source game engine, which has received many updates since its release in 2004.

Using an Xbox 360 Contoller
In the console (~) type exec 360controller to automatically enable controller input and bind the buttons.Note this will also change any key icons to icons of 360 controller buttons. To undo just type exec undo360controller into the console.
Getting and running the game
Windows
On Windows, Half Life 2 is available trough the Steam digital distribution platform.
Mac
Half Life 2 is also available on Mac Computers trough Steam.
Linux
