Information
- The vast majority of games made in TADS are not playable on their own; instead, TADS generates story files which must be opened with an interpreter. The official website provides a "Player Kit" to play TADS games, although there are other third-party interpreters available which play both TADS games and games made in other interactive fiction authoring systems.
- Beginning with TADS 3.1, developers can now choose to export their games in a "Web Play" format which allows the player to open the game in any web browser, eliminating the need to install a separate interpreter.
