Emulators
higan
higan (previously known as bsnes) is a Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Game Boy Color emulator, that began development on 2004-10-14. It focuses on accuracy and clean code above all else. It never uses speed or compatibility hacks. As a result, the minimum system requirements are greater than with other emulators.
At this time, higan contains no hacks and runs every official game ever released.
SNES9x
SNES9x is an SNES emulator which runs on the most operating systems. It's been in constant development since 1997.
ZSNES
ZSNES is the most popular emulator for the SNES. Supported on Windows, DOS and Linux.
