Skip intro videos

Rename RPL files^[2]
Go to `MOVIES` in the installation folder. Rename `intro.rpl` and `Logos.rpl` to something else (simply rename them back to revert). For the GOG.com and Steam versions, run the nGlide configurator in the installation folder. Change the 3dfx logo splash screen setting. Click Apply, then Exit.

Deathtrap Dungeon can run at higher resolutions using nGlide (pre-installed for the GOG.com and Steam versions).

Install nGlide (retail)^[3]

Download and install nGlide.
Download Zeus Software's patch and extract it somewhere temporarily.
Run PatchInstall.bat
Move MSS32.dll to the installation folder, replacing the existing file.
Run the nGlide configurator from the Start screen/Start menu.
Set your screen resolution.
Change aspect ratio to "4:3" if you want the correct perspective, or leave at "fit to screen" to have everything stretch to fill the screen.

Vertical sync (Vsync)

Game does not start (Windows 10)

Use replacement DLLs^[2]
Download the latest version of ogg-winmm. Extract to the installation folder, replacing the existing files when prompted. Delete or rename `win32.dll`. Rename `winmm.dll` to `win32.dll`.

"Deathtrap Dungeon CD not found in Drive" (Sold Out Software version)

The Sold Out Software version requires a registry file which may not have been correctly imported.^[4]

Import DDUNG.REG^[4]
Go to the CD root. Run `DDUNG.REG`. When prompted to import the file, choose Yes. Choose OK when prompted.
