Cannot access menus

By default, keyboard key to access menu in-game is F1 (DualShock square button, Xbox X button).
Disable GeForce Experience share feature[2]
  1. Open GeForce Experience
  2. Open settings.
  3. From general settings, disable "In-game overlay"

Notes

Make certain that you do not have any other software interfering with the game, especially with overlay and hotkeys using F1
Change keybinding for menu[3]
  1. Go to the configuration file location.
  2. Open config.txt.
  3. Locate pad_square = f1 and add in desired key to same line e.g. pad_square = f1,key_f for f.
