Windows
- The controller works natively as a DirectInput controller; use DS4Windows by Jays2Kings to add XInput compatibility. InputMapper is a well-supported adware alternative.
- You may want to enable the option "Hide DS4 Controller" so that some games don't detect two controllers at once, as well as "Start Minimized".
Supported Games
- While most games require XInput, some games have native support for DirectInput and the DualShock 4. These include:
- Shovel Knight
- Transistor, also includes lightbar support under OS X and Linux, see article for details.
- Dying Light
- Far Cry 4
- Trials Fusion
- Assassin's Creed Unity
- Assassin's Creed Rogue*
- Grand Theft Auto V*[citation needed]
- * = No dualshock button prompts.
Other information
- Worn analog sticks are a known issue. If the controller is still under warranty contact Sony or the retailer for replacement instructions.[1] Worn sticks can also be replaced manually (follow this guide).
