Change the way FOV is calculated[2]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Engine.ini in a text editor.
  3. Add the following lines:

AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
A significant increase from the default 16:9 value. Compensate by adjusting the in-game FOV slider, if desired.
