Assassin's Creed is the first installment in the Assassin's Creed series.

Patches

The game is currently at version 1.02. It is heavily recommended to patch to the latest version.

Issues and Fixes

Character Audio Problem

When you have 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound enabled, characters voices can be lost or inaudible. This can be fixed by switching to 2.1 Stereo.

Controller won't work properly

Download the file below "Xbox Controller Fix.rar". Unpack both files(x360ce.ini and xinput1_3.dll) in the main Assassin's Creed directory. This method will also work with Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations.

For advanced users and an updated version of the DLL just go to x360ce download page and download the corresponding DLL for your system. You can also download the program to create the ini for your particular gamepad
