Key points
- Since 1 October 2019, the game is free-to-play. It's entitled "Destiny 2: New Light", available on Steam.[2] Supports cross-saves between platforms (No cross-play yet). The version contains elements from expansion packs: story campaign of Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and elements of Forsaken expansion.
- The game currently is not playable on Ryzen 3000 series CPUs without a firmware/BIOS update with AGESA 1.0.0.3ABA/ABB or newer, or AMD Chipset Drivers 1.07.29 or newer.[3]

Editions
- The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the game, the expansion pass, and a special emblem, sword, and emote.
- The Limited Edition is the Digital Deluxe Edition packaged in a Cabal-themed box and steelbook case.
- The Collector's Edition includes everything in the Digital Deluxe edition plus several physical bonuses.
- Destiny 2 Forsaken includes the first two DLC and the Forsaken expansion.
