Mount & Blade: Warband is the standalone expansion to Mount & Blade released on March 30, 2010. It features a new world map, an improved game engine, a new faction (The Sarranid Sultanate, based on medieval Arab civilizations), additional economic elements in the single player and several multiplayer modes.
Mods
To install Mount and Blade mods, navigate to your Steamapps 'mountblade warband' folder, and extract the mod in the 'Modules' folder. Then select the mod from the drop down menu in the launcher when you first start the game.
