Access Ubisoft Connect rewards & all DLC/bonus content
- Since the servers have been shut down in 2021, it is not possible to access bought DLC anymore. To unlock them again, the game executable can be modified with a Hex Editor. This has only been tested on the Steam Gold Edition, it may or may not work on other versions.
Editing the game executable

- Search for the file
Settlers7R.exe in the installation folder. Create a backup in case something goes wrong.
- Open
Settlers7R.exe in a Hex Editor.
- Go to offset
0xD40E and replace 0x1D with 0x2D .
- Go to offset
0x1A978E and replace 0x74 with 0xEB .
- Go to offset
0x1A977C and replace 0x75 0x12 with 0x90 0x90 .
- Replace the bytes at the offsets
0x64477C , 0x21929C and 0x219224 with 0xB0 0x00 .
- Save the changes.
Notes:
- This enables the development mode (skippable intros), unlocks all maps, enables the RotR maps to be played as skirmish maps, and adds three unique victory points as well as the "Enormous Advantage" in the ingame map editor. Other changes might also be possible.
