Widescreen resolution[edit]

Set the desired resolution in configuration files[citation needed]
  1. Go to the configuration file location.
  2. Open _global.dat.
  3. Change iScreenX and iScreenY to the desired resolution.

Notes

This will only work if you have set the game to Windowed mode as well. If you try to edit these settings using fullscreen mode the game WILL crash on launch. For the game to start in fullscreen iScreenX and iScreenY must be set to iScreenX=1024 and iScreenY=768.

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/33130/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (33130) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
