X-Men: The Ravages of Apocalypse is a total conversion mod for the FPS game Quake, inspired by the X-Men animated series.
The mod was originally released as a commercial product on December 5, 1997, requiring the full registered version of Quake to run. On June 5, 2006, the mod was rereleased as freeware, along with its source code, having been modified to work with the shareware version of Quake[citation needed] and fix some bugs.
Key points
- Commercially released total conversion mod for Quake. Fixes for that game are likely to work here.

Xbox 360 Controller support
Using existing joystick support, it is possible to add support for XInput-based controllers.
A list of configurations for the devices can be found in the Files section.
It will not add triggers support for XInput-based controllers as Quake treats them as axes and won't allow to map them. As a workaround, an XInput-to-DirectInput wrapper can be used, such as XInput Plus (actual tool is in English).
