Shouldn't the Config row be Windows and not Steam? Or does GOG version not store display.ini in game's root?
Possibly it does. I was correcting the erroneous info that this applied strictly to Windows (and didn't consider that a DRM-free release was now available). The Linux version stores configuration info in both places.
Yeah I understood your edit, but since GOG versions of SRs exist, it makes it little more difficult.
I aware of it being Nvidia only, however that should be noted on the AA page else you have to metion it every time and clog up the game page :D
If I ever finish this it shouldn't be a problem
Sounds good to me - once the AA overhaul is finished that is ;)
Until then, we should keep the mentions IMO, so it is clear somewhere, because the AA page is not very useful.
The search bar suggests "Hotline Miami 2", but doesn't suggest "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number" for some reason. Do you know why this could be the case?
That's... interesting. I'd love to have an answer, but I don't really see why. Please let me know if a page doesn't appear in the suggestions at all, I'll try to look into it in the meantime.
I've found a more problematic search suggestion bug: Trials Fusion is also not shown there.
Also Mad Max.
I think it would make a lot of sense to make this type of fields not consider references at the end of a value an error.
I'm guessing you are referring to this edit?
Withing those kind of tables (includes also other stuff like infobox), refs have to be added as seperate thing by putting "|ref=" at the end, like this. I fail to find right terms/english words right now, but I hope this helps.
Oh, OK. It'd be helpful to have this in the editing guide.
Both Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Postal 2(http://i.imgur.com/Z010oB4.jpg) can have all 4 possible cases so this isn't "rare" at all. Please adjust it.
What exactly needs to be adjusted? Do you want all the icons in one row or two icons per row?
Either like this
O O O O
Don't care tbh, but right now it looks terrible misaligned.
This does look ugly: http://i.imgur.com/aw62QL8.png
However, if you put them in "right" order (read: order they though icons would be used) it looks much better. Look at SA and Postal 2 articles now. I remember mentioning it at IRC, but soeb said it's not the highest priority.
Hmm bit better, but still not perfect. Hopefully it'll get ironed out eventually.
Same issue also applies to DRM row as seen on Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City. R*'s famous over-DRM games.
Needs to be adjusted for 4 OSes at once! ie. Super 3-D Noah's Ark
Does Super 3-D Noah's Ark include an actual DOS package, or is it just DOSBox? DOSBox does not count as a DOS release.
Yes it contains DOS version with no DOSBox. Kinda like Duke Nukem 3D Megaton edition.
Besides what Garrett said (and that is completely correct - I don't think anyone is actually selling the DOS version), this is such a rare occurrence that I see little reason to dedicate extra space from the more important columns (like notes) for an extremely uncommon thing to show up.
However, primarily refer to what Garrett said. GOG.com doesn't sell DOS versions last I checked, they sell a DOSbox wrapper for Windows/OS X/Linux. Same goes for Steam and most other stores. It might work on DOS, but that's not how we label it.
The shift to HTML tables for templates causes whitespace when certain optional sections are unused. I have resolved this for the cases I spotted with Template:Infobox game and Template:VR support, but this could potentially apply to any optional section in a migrated template.
Thanks for mentioning this - I'll see about the other templates and fix them if necessary.
We should probably try and handle the special properties more gracefully, but eh, one step at a time.
Note that imported revisions don't override any newer edits. I've fixed Template:Tickcross but I'm not sure which other intended changes need fixing.
Thanks for letting me know - I only fixed the few that came up right away, but I didn't check all of them.
Here is a gist with all the pages that I exported and attempted to import. I'll walk through it in the evening when I get back, but feel free to get started if you've got the time.
Remember that I can do much of this using Pywikibot. I'm currently doing a pass of namespace updates after which I can remove the deprecated SMW templates. This might take a couple of passes depending on the parameter complexity.
On an unrelated note, it seems the interwiki images (like the one above) aren't working. Before it was a Wikipedia logo (or something).
Yeah, spotted the wp problem, just the original image is missing - will fix it later today.
As to the company pages, please do. SMW templates need removal, parent company field is simpler, and the infobox is just called "infobox company.
All redirect pages in those two namespaces need removing as well.
Currently everything is handled with just the infobox, as I got tired of having to edit the company pages repeatedly (as I'm sure everyone else has).
Main and talk pages from those namespaces should be all sorted now along with the old templates and the parent parameters. Threads might need double-checking (I don't know whether the thread extension actually uses the namespace ID or just puts that in the thread name as plain text).
The next fun adventure will probably be the upgraded Template:Input settings.
Thank for the promotion. I will send you a friend request on steam. If you see X.A.N.A pop up, that'll be me.
