This error occurs if you connect to a server that Requires a Quake III Arena CD key using ioUrbanTerror.
Switch to the Q3 Mod version[citation needed]
If you get the same message in the Q3 Mod Version, try using the fix below.
Delete all files named "Q3KEY" in your Quake 3 folder[citation needed]
  1. Delete all files named "Q3KEY" in your Quake 3 folder and subfolders.
  2. Start Vanilla Quake 3
  3. Enter your CD key when the game prompts you to.
  4. Quit Vanilla Quake 3
  5. Launch Urban Terror and try connecting to the server again.
