Official Master server for multiplayer was shut down on April 17, 2020. Can be restored with a mod, see Multiplayer types
Main menu background is not animated unlike console versions. Oddly the animated background video file is still in the PC version.

Coalesced.ini needs to be decoded before it can be edited; use TF Games Configuration Utility. Coalesced.int contains localization info and must also be decoded (Appears to only be text strings, change it for making a fan translation. Can't change the language through the int without changing every line manually. Not recommended for trying to use one of the official localizations). \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Activision\Transformers Fall Of Cybertron\ has a String named 'language'. Change its data to 'INT' for English, 'FRA' for French, 'DEU' for German, 'ESP' for Spanish, 'ITA' for Italian, 'RUS' for Russian.

Video

Graphics feature State Notes
Widescreen resolution
Multi-monitor
Use Flawless Widescreen or Widescreen Fixer.
Ultra-widescreen
Use Flawless Widescreen or Widescreen Fixer.
4K Ultra HD
The game runs fine on 1440p and 1620p, but on 2160p the textures get bugged and load only low-res textures. However, setting a custom resolution of 1800p (3200x1800) somehow allows the textures to load. Subtitles also scales poorly with resolutions larger than 1280 pixels wide, making them too small in very high resolutions.
Field of view (FOV)
Use Flawless Widescreen. Affects scope zoom (larger FOV = less zoom).
Windowed
Borderless fullscreen windowed
See the glossary page for potential workarounds.
Anisotropic filtering (AF)
Default is 4 samples (MaxAnisotropy=4); set MaxAnisotropy=16 in Coalesced.ini for 16 samples.
Anti-aliasing (AA)
Extra Quality graphics setting uses unknown form of post process AA. Sampling-based AA can be forced through Nvidia Inspector with 0x00000245 AA compatibility flag;[2] alternatively you can turn on FXAA and/or set MaxMultisamples=x (MSAA) Replace x with,2,4,6,or 8. in Coalesced.ini
Vertical sync (Vsync)
60 FPS
120+ FPS
Capped and frame data tied at 60 FPS. Use the -silent FPS=118 launch option.[3] Warning: Physics can glitch out, speed up cutscenes and can give a unfair side effect in multiplayer against opponent players similar to speedhacking and chances put into a third team.[4][5][6]
High dynamic range display (HDR)
See the glossary page for potential alternatives.

Input

Since the multiplayer servers are down, the debug camera and other features can't be (ab)used for cheating. They still function just fine for single-player. https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2255-fall-of-cybertron-debug-camera-controls/

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/213120/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (213120) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
