The PC port is significantly downgraded visually from the arcade original as it is based on the Sega Saturn console port of the game.

Restoring in-game music

_Inmm.dll can be used to fix the lack of in-game music by emulating the Red Book CD audio.
How to use _inmm.dll
  1. Download and install _inmm.dll.
  2. Extract all audio tracks from the original CD with extract audio copy or windows media player.
  3. Run _inmm.dll Setup, then click on the Method tab, and set default to DirectShow.
  4. Click on the _inmm.ini tab, then click Add, and select all extracted audio tracks.
  5. Click Save, then go to the game directory, and save the INI file.
  6. Close _inmm.dll Setup, then drag THOTD.exe onto _inmmcnf.exe.
  7. Click OK when a message pops up that asks if you want to patch THOTD.exe.
