Key points

Stuttering camera and bad performance even on modern high-end computers.
Installing this game through Steam will also install Xvid which has some unnecessary applications for the game and can safely be uninstalled.[1]
Black screen during intro movies. Running the game in windowed mode or disabling the intro movies solves the issue.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/39650/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (39650) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
