My notes after creation

  • Cover art - There don't seem to be any official scans or masters of the original cover. Could go with the art from GOG, but that'd probably look trashy. :P
  • Dev/publisher - I lifted these from the Wikipedia entry. GOG lists Dynamix as the dev and Playdom as the publisher, but that's obviously for the rerelease (Playdom published the 2011 iOS game, and seems to own the rights now).
  • Release date - No one seems to be really sure about this. Various databases like IGN, Giant Bomb, and GameSpy list dates in March 2001, but this is a DOS game. Wikipedia simply lists '93, so I went with that.
  • Video settings screenshot - Coming soon, had to report a DOSBox Configurator that wasn't on the GOG project page.
  • Windowed mode and controller remappings - The game doesn't actually have either of these, but I didn't really think they were hackable seeing how DOSBox has keyboard shortcuts for them.
  • Mouse acceleration - Listed as unknown because, while it's definitely not in the game itself, I found a few conflicting reports about whether or not DOSBox has this function. Probably not, but didn't want to be concrete with it.

I've added the best version of the cover I could find that didn't have watermarks or other problems. GOG stores simpler versions of most covers which you can get by removing the _bb_20 part (so this becomes this, etc.) although in this case the Mega Pack's image is actually the cover of the first game in the series.

There hasn't really been any standard so far for whether DOSBox functions should be given as hackable or native; native probably makes the most sense since only the most dedicated would still be playing in real DOS. :)
