DirectInput excludes XInput?

I couldn't extensively try on the computer of my friend, but based on a quick search and some experimentation, it seems that unless every DInput device is disconnected, the game refuses XInput controllers.

EDIT: I guess it may follow this implemented very badly

Good day!

I've already heard quite a lot of people about some weird stuttering in Rayman Legends, and I had the exact same problem. Demo and fullgame.

Fixed it by running the game in Windowed Mode, followed by using this nice little program to play it in a Borderless Window. https://web.archive.org/web/20130904033235/http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?p=30525996

Some people said they fixed it by creating a custom resolution (1920x1074) through NVidia's controllcenter or ATI's Catalyst Control, and selecting that as the resolution in Rayman's config screen. Didn't work for me (well, it wasn't as bad as before, but the stuttering was still there), but it may be a bit of handy information for other people.

Thought I should share it here. :)

EDIT: Changed the subject title after discovering the game was stuttering at a steady 59.9FPS.

I can confirm that I've got stuttering and overscan issues. Basically unplayable.
