About the locked render resolution

I had spent many hours figuring out the right addresses to replace resolutions. And it all seemed to work. I didn't inspect it close enough and proceeded to integrate this into the article with elaborate instructions.

Only to realize at a second thought..."Wait, this doesn't look right. My sample is too low resolution to really tell... I need to try a REALLY high resolution"

That's when I realized the game is locked to 1080p max. (Even though the actual rendering resolution is lower, at default 270* rotation scale, the game seems to render natively at 1296x972 at 1920x1080. I couldn't find the hex values for this (10 05 00 00 CC 03) in any of the game files. But the values for 1080p are in two places in game.exe and several other places in some .dlls. I replaced all of these with values for 3200x1800 and it was all still upscaled. I would assume it calculated rendering resolution based off set scaling and display resolution. But I am wrong. It must be hardcoded somewhere, somehow.


Anyone else have any ideas or want to take a crack at it?
