Since there seems to be some understandable confusion over what, exactly, the in-game video skipping options do, below are the options in question and their in-game tooltips:
Game Introduction (enabled = checked; disabled = unchecked)
- Enable to get an introduction to the game, to help you get set in the command chair.
The introduction will show up in the battlecruiser and the first mission of the game.
CGI (enabled = checked; disabled = unchecked)
- Enable/Disable game video animations. This will skip all video cgi's that show before and after a mission deployment.
