The game doesn't work properly on Windows 8.1. It is possible to install it, run it and play, but the "Save" option doesn't work at all, whether the compatibility settings are on or off, or when I try to run it as Administrator - I can save the game, but later the save state doesn't exist at all. Even if I see my file on loading screen it is impossible to load it - nothing happens. dgVoodoo doesn't solve any problems with in-game black screens or very slow loadings. Installing Patch v4.80 only get matters worse - the game doesn't run at all and needs reinstallation. Even using Microsoft Compatibility Toolkit (with IgnoreException, IgnoreScheduler and SingleProcAffinity settings) doesn't work at all. I also tried to install the game under the least complicated path: "D:\IntRallyChamp". And it didn't help at all. In short - game runs clumsily ang has an Alzheimer syndrome.

besides, the game disappeared from europress shop page starting from late 2000. And later even from support pages. This may or may not be connected with europress's hasbro buyout which this series avoided. Interestingly enough, Actualize Limited is mentioned as EA here. Here they still seemed to be in control of the series trademark.. As explained on wikipedia the entire publisher (thus the series) was acquired by Sales Curve interactive Entertainment Group PLC
