Frame Limiter issues

What on Earth is happening with notes about lifting 30FPS cap not causing issues? It's obvious bullshit.

Fixed my lord.

Also, I figured out playing with 10 fps limiter also messes up with car handling (I don't remember a similar behavior in SA though)

Does it even make sense?

It probably does, physics are purely fixed for 30FPS. If they were fixed for <= 30FPS, then maybe it'd be easier to alter them for higher framerates, who knows.

nearly all the problems could be solved by running the game with only a core.. wouldn't be better understandable explaining this at the beginning streamlining the page?

EDIT: core affinity fixes simply are BS... the only one working for real is frame limiting

And after a year this came out in my mind again.

I spotted it in SimCity 4 and.. wtf mass effect
I mean, execpt in VC case, it seems this option can really do at least something.

But now I was wondering: why so different games have the same parameter that should force single thread affinity? Is there any compiler that automatically places this?

i would simply delete all the "high quality" / "high resolution" / "high definition" stuff
and maybe merge the txd and img editor in a single little fixbox where we recommend what tools should be used for every data format
