Issues fixed

The game doesn’t detect 4K resolution, or it fails to start after changing the monitor.

Delete Hardware.ini[3]
  1. Search for the application "Run" in the search bar.
  2. Enter the following text in the blank space:%APPDATA%\.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Look for the TMNT folder.
  5. Delete the Hardware.ini file.
  6. Go to the folder where the game is installed and run TMNT.exe.
  7. Hold down Ctrl key.
  8. Select the desired resolution and run the game.

The game doesn’t start in modern versions of Windows

Replace the original .exe with a No-CD[4]
With this patch, it is still required to have the disc in the CD/DVD drive to run the game.
  1. Enter the following page: https://megagames.com/fixes/ind-no-cd-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-2007-v10-eng
  2. Scroll down the page to where it says “download” and click on “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2007”.
  3. Click again on “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2007” and wait for 5 seconds to download the file, if it does not start you can click on “download now” to start the download.
  4. If the browser mentions that the file is not secure, ignore the warning and install the file.
  5. Unzip only the TMNTGame.exe file.
  6. Copy the TMNTGame.exe file and paste it into the folder where the game is installed.
  7. Replace the original TMNTGame.exe file with the new one.
  8. Run the game.

Issues unresolved

The game has the "Launch Game!" option disabled.

Example
Example
This issue can occur on certain devices, such as the “Asus Rog Ally”, due to the “Configuration Utility” being unable to recognize specific hardware. In the case of the previously mentioned device, it’s the CPU that’s not recognized.
Add specific keys to Windows Registery in order to make the button avalible again
  1. Open up Windows Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Ubisoft\TMNT, if the directory doesn't exist, create it.
  2. Create a new key by Right Click -> New -> String Value, and name it exactly as InstallDir
  3. Double click on the key, and set it's value to exactly .\
  4. Now, the button will re-appear when running the launcher

Notes

  1. When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/21990/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (21990) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
