Very high frame-rates have some effect on bullet physics; some hits may not register properly at very long range or when using automatic weapons. See Run the game at screen refresh rate.

Windowed[edit]

Running a game in Window Mode[citation needed]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Video.scr using a text editor.
  3. Find a line Fullscreen(), which should be near the end of document and remove it (however, do not remove a similar line !Fullscreen() at the beginning of the file)
  4. Save changes and run a game.

Anti-aliasing (AA)[edit]

Only Post-Processing Anti-Aliasing is available. There is no separate option for it - if Post Process Quality is set to Normal, Anti-aliasing is enabled. Changing FSAA(x) in configuration file, doesn't make a difference.

Vertical sync (Vsync)[edit]

Enabling Vsync[citation needed]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Video.scr using a text editor.
  3. Add a line line VSync() at the end of a document.
  4. Save changes and run a game.

Issues fixed[edit]

Can't connect to an online game[edit]

Disable non-used network adapters[citation needed]

Run the game at screen refresh rate[edit]

Fullscreen mode only offers the option to use a refresh rate of 100 Hz or less, even if the screen refresh rate is set higher than that.
Set screen refresh rate[1]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Video.scr with a text editor.
  3. Set MaxRefresh to the screen refresh rate (e.g. MaxRefresh(120)).
  4. Add Fullscreen() at the bottom if it doesn't exist.
