Although this version has support for XInput-based controllers, it does not recognize input from the D-pad.
Use XInput Plus[2]
  1. Download and run XInput Plus.
  2. Set the Target Program to Raiden3.exe.
  3. Go to the Key Assign tab, then go to Left Stick and assign it to Multiple Key, then check Left Stick and DPAD.
  4. Go to the DirectInput tab, then perform the following:
    • Enable DirectInput Output from the general DirectInput section.
    • In the Basic sub-tab, set LT/RT to Button 12/13 and the Guide button to Button 11.
    • In the Advanced sub-tab, under the Misc. section, check Disable XInput and Override Device Name.
  5. Click Apply to save settings and install DLLs into the installation folder. The game should be able to register XInput D-pad.

Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/315670/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (315670) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
