Audio optimization[edit]

.ini file[4]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open MobileForces.ini.
  3. Find the line [Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem].
  4. Change the value of OutputRate to your audio output rate, Windows defaults to 44100. Doing this wrong may cause the audio to sound weird.
  5. Change the value of EffectsChannels to 32.
  6. Change the value of Latency to 45, keep increasing the value if the cracking in the audio doesn't stop. I set mine to 60.
  7. Save your changes.

Notes

  1. SafeDisc retail DRM does not work on Windows 10[1] and is disabled by default on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 when the KB3086255 update is installed.[2]
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/837940/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (837940) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
