Heroes Chronicles is a series of eight singleplayer-only variants of the 1999 turn-based strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic III, sharing the entirety of the gameplay with that title, but containing unique campaigns.
There are eight chapters (episodes) in total, released during 2000 and 2001. The fifth and sixth chapters were released for free for owners of prior chapters, but the installer could only check for North American versions. The seventh and eighth chapters were bundled together as The Final Chapters package.
On June 23, 2011, all chapters were released in a single bundle on GOG.com, making all chapters available internationally for the first time.
All versions require the GL wrapper by Verok to resolve compatibility issues. The HD mod for Heroes of Might & Magic III is not compatible with any of the Heroes Chronicles executables.
