Essential improvements

Skip intro videos

Skip intro videos
  1. Go to <path-to-game>\HLL\Content\Movies\.
  2. Delete or rename BlackMatter4K.mp4, FlixInteractive.mp4, Team17.mp4, Unreal.mp4, and Vivox.mp4.

Improve Blurriness

It is no longer possible to edit Engine.ini as of update 9. Community TAA is considered a good alternative.
Edit Engine.ini
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Edit Engine.ini.
  3. Add the following lines:
[SystemSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=2
r.TemporalAACurrentFrameWeight=0.2
r.TemporalAASamples=64
r.TemporalAASharpness=1
r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=1
This is to improve the game's standard temporal AA which causes heavy blurriness. Editing graphics options will overwrite these settings, and require reapplying them.

Performance improvement

Some players are reporting a significant improvement to performance when enabling DirectX 12.
