Essential improvements

Skip intro screens

Skip intro[citation needed]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>\resources\splashes.
  2. Rename, move, or delete the image files NG2TH.jpg, splash_dot.png, and splash_snk.png located in the folder.
  3. The game will now start with a very brief white screen on boot up and then go straight into the (skippable) arcade intro video much faster.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/366240/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (366240) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
