Issues fixed

Low framerate on 144 Hz monitor (NVIDIA users)

This fix will allow you to play the game without having to change your monitor refresh rate in Windows.
Modify GPU control panel settings[2]
  1. Make sure your monitor refresh rate is set to 143.998 Hz in the Windows Display Settings.
  2. Next, open the NVIDIA control panel and go to 3D Settings->Manage 3D Settings.
  3. Select the Program Settings tab on the right and find Forager in the dropdown (add it if you don't see it).
  4. Select the following options:
    1. Max Frame Rate: On: 60 FPS
    2. Monitor Technology: Fixed Refresh
    3. Preferred refresh rate (Your Monitor Name Is Here): Application-controlled
    4. Vertical Sync: Use the 3D application setting
  5. Then, when inside Forager, turn V-sync OFF in the game's settings.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/751780/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (751780) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
