Widescreen resolution[edit]

Higher resolutions can be set in the registry. Only 4:3 resolutions will have the correct aspect ratio.

  1. For the Steam version, apply the launcher fix.
  2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\digital image design\Typhoon
  3. Set Preferred Width and Preferred Height in Decimal format.

Notes

Some higher resolutions do not work (the game will instead run at 1024x768).

Run typhoon_2000.reg[4]
  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Run typhoon_2000.reg
  3. Choose Yes/OK and Yes to confirm making changes to the registry.
  4. The launcher should now open correctly.
