PlayStation 4 on Wikipedia

The PlayStation 4 is a video game console developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment (Then-Sony Computer Entertainment) and manufactured by Sony, released on November 15, 2013 and is a 8th-generation video game console.

The PlayStation 4 is powered by a single AMD's semi-custom SoC containing a 8-core AMD x86-64 Jaguar CPU and a 18 CU AMD Graphics Core Next GPU, with 8 GB of unified memory (GDDR5). It has a 2.5 inches SATA2 HDD as its storage media and utilize the Blu-Ray Disc as its game media format. Its primary controller is the DualShock 4.

A upgraded model, the PlayStation 4 Pro, was released in 2016 and contains a upgraded SoC with a 36 CU AMD GCN GPU, and also came with a SATA3 HDD.

Because the console is fairly new, emulators listed below on PC are still in early development as of June 1, 2023. Do note that some PlayStation 4 game titles utilize the lightbar and the gyroscope on the DualShock 4.
