Issues fixed

Game crashes upon entering combat phase

Set texture resolution to medium or lower[citation needed]
  1. Launch game
  2. Open settings and then video settings
  3. Set texture resolution to medium
  4. Not sure if this helps, but avoiding RTS battle on capital city seems solves my crashing problem

Game does not start with desktop resolution of 1600x900 or 1440x900

Play in windowed mode[citation needed]
  1. Download this for 1600x900 or this for 1440x900
  2. Place file in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Larian Studios\Dragon Commander
  3. Start game and select windowed mode ("Fake" or bordered) and play in windowed mode.

Notes

  1. FLAC is not stated on the GOG.com store page, but is present among downloads.
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/243950/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (243950) may differ in some cases.
