Disney's Animated Storybook: Toy Story is an interactive book in the Disney's Animated Storybook series published by Disney Interactive. It is an abridged and slightly modified retelling of the 1995 computer-animated film Toy Story by Pixar Animation Studios, who themselves developed this title instead of regular Disney's Animated Storybook developer Media Station. It is the only entry in said series to be based on a Disney/Pixar (and, by extension, computer-animated) film instead of a Disney Animation film.

The game was released on Windows and Macintosh on April 24, 1996.

Key points

Game does not run on modern operating systems (16-bit game). Virtualization is required.
Game runs exclusively at 256-color mode (8-bit), and cannot run at higher color settings. Windows Compatibility Mode does not work to resolve this (See Issues fixed for workaround.)
