Ultra-widescreen
Resolutions above 1080p not natively supported and must be edited manually, see Widescreen resolution. Image is Vert- and FOV will need to be adjusted to compensate. Increasing the FOV by ~17 for each value gives the best approximation of a true Hor+ image, although a 1:1 image is not possible as these adjustments slightly change the camera position.

Field of view (FOV)[edit]

Edit config file[2]
  1. Edit %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Afterfall InSanity\RascalGame\Config\RascalCamera.ini
  2. Change FOV values and save the file.
Editing the FOV in this manner does not seem to affect FOV while aiming or the FOV of the PDA interface.

Widescreen resolution[edit]

Highest support resolution is 1920x1200. Custom resolutions must be set manually.
Edit the configuration settings
  1. Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Afterfall InSanity\RascalGame\Config\RascalGame.ini
  2. Go to the section [RascalGame.RascalProfileSettings] and add the following lines:
  3. bForceResolution=true
  4. ForceResX=3840 (replace with your desired vertical resolution)
  5. ForceResY=2160 (replace with your desired horizontal resolution)
  6. bForceFullScreen=true

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/224420/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (224420) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
