Open YookaLaylee64.exe with a hex editor such as HxD. Go to offset 0x24DEE6. Replace bytes F3 41 0F 5E C8 with E9 E1 29 D3 00 Go to offset 0xF808CC and paste write the bytes C7 44 24 58 00 00 80 3F F3 0F 59 4C 24 58 F3 41 0F 5E C8 F3 0F 10 7B 14 F3 0F 59 7C 24 58 F3 0F 11 7B 14 E9 F7 D5 2C FF. Change the multiplier at 0xF808D0 from 00 00 80 3F to a value representing your float value multiplier (default multiplier is 1.0). Remember to invert the byte order to Little Endian. Notes Only works with the release version 1.0 of the game. Use this online float to hex converter. Alternatively, you can download the attachment with codes already injected into the executable. Thus, step five will be the only step to adjust the FOV for the game.

Post-processing

Disabling depth of field makes the graphics appear sharper and more detailed.

Toggle post-process effects

Download Yooka-Laylee 3D Vision Fix. Extract the contents to the installation folder. Start the game. Press F3 to toggle the bloom effect. Press F4 to toggle the depth of field blur. Press F5 to toggle the post-process anti-aliasing. Notes By default the game effects aren't modified. You can change the default state in the [Constants] section of d3dx.ini. Users with AMD GPUs need to delete the file nvapi64.dll. If no change occurs when using the hotkeys, download the current release of 3Dmigoto and use its d3d11.dll file instead.

Force exclusive fullscreen

For the Steam version, select "exclusive" when starting the game to get exclusive fullscreen.

Create a shortcut to <path-to-game>\YookaLaylee64.exe. Add the -window-mode exclusive command line argument to the shortcut. Launch the game using the shortcut. Notes Using Alt+Tab ↹ to switch to desktop may not work properly anymore.
