Regarding activation of old retail games on Origin

Hello Garrett, nice to meet you! I have good news regarding this list https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/List_of_Origin-redeemable_games

A few days ago I bought a copy of The Goodfather II retail (2€ here in Italy). I tried to activate the game using the Origin launcher with no success, like a lot of people have been saying. Than I tried to activate the game through the Origin's web page (www.origin.com)... and it worked! I don't know if this can help, but meaby you can suggest to try to redeem the "Redeemable through support" games even through the Origin's web page first.

Also, do you know what's the deal with older games than 2009? Can I add to Origin retail games such as NFS Underground 2, C&C: Renegade, or the first Crysis, just using the their retail game key? As someone tasted with older games than 2009? Any luck or results you can tell/know about? I can't found clear facts about this matter on the net...

Ty Garrett.

I haven't worked on this list in some time, so a lot of it may be missing or out of date (I also don't really have many EA games from outside Origin to test with). As always, feel free to expand/improve/correct/etc. as needed.
