Yes, i know SM2 is a completely different game on PC, i played it. My point is: I don't see a keypoint like that in other pages for games that are different from the console version. One good example is Lego Rock Raiders: action/adventure game on PS1, strategy game on PC.

It should be investigated how common it is to release a completely different PC version (excluding mobile phones and portable consoles) with the same title and cover.

Well it's labeled Spider-Man 2 The Game in deceptively small letters. The console and portable versions omit that. On a similar note, Spider-Man (Neversoft) and Spider-Man (Treyarch) had the same cover title for PC in a short span but different enough artwork to less confusing. But the likes of Mega Man 3 must be seen to be believed, they really forked over PC gamers with that!

Yes, it appears that "The Game" subtitle was added to the PC version. Wikipedia article should be updated.

I'm not interested in starting an edit war and that's why I won't remove the keypoint again. I still think It's useless to write that on a technical wiki like PCGW tho.

I've now removed the keypoint.
