70º by default. Attemping to increase DesiredFOV=70.00000 and DefaultFOV=70.00000 in <path-to-game>/System/User.ini leads to a lowered weapon FOV and camera FOV isn't affected by those values.[1] To increase both camera and weapon FOV, see Field of view (FOV).

  2. Press Ctrl+G and type the following offset:
    • For the European version (The Regiment), go to 000338C0.
    • For the North American version (Terror Strike / Operation: Hostage Rescue), go to 00033927.
  3. Look for the value 00008C42.
  4. Highlight the value and go to the Data inspector table in the right side.
  5. Change the value in the Single (float32) row to the desired one (horizontal FOV in degrees).
  6. Save the file.

Notes

Issues unresolved

Terror Strike (North American version) cannot be installed on storage units with very high capacity

The North American version refuses to install when it is being installed on a storage unit with very high capacity such as 22TB, game installs fine on a 2TB HDD, may also work on an 8TB HDD.[citation needed]
The Regiment (EU version)'s installer works on a 22TB HDD with no problems.
Workaround: Install the game to a storage unit with lower capacity

Issues fixed

Video output is disabled after profile menu

This happens if MSI Afterburner is running in the background. Video output can be regained by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and closing the game through the Task Manager.
Install DgVoodoo 2 to use them simultaneously
Close MSI Afterburner
