Getting stuck in an invisible wall in a vent
Possible solutions:

Graphical Tweaks
Field of Vision Fix (FOV)
Field of vision is set to default at 40, which is very low. A fix is available by the user clippa, which involves downloading a utility and forcing a memory hack:

Performance Improvements
Windowed Mode
Running the game in windowed mode has been reported to alleviate certain frame rate issues.
