Alternative method for Bethesda Launcher version: Delete

<path-to-game>\base\bink\boot\boot_pc.bik file.

The file boot_pc.bik doesn't exist on my system. Game version 1.0.5, Bethesda client.

Is this game can run on core 2 quad Cpus?

I am glad if somebody answers this and confirm this for me...

For Intel CPUs, the minimum supported is an Intel Core i5-3570 or a i7-3770.

You could try to see if the game will launch with your CPU, but you're being very CPU-bound - assuming you don't run into the same lack of POPCNT that RAGE 2 was hit with.

Additionally, you could try using some of LowSpecGamer's tweaks for Wolfenstein II and see which ones work for you or in general.

In general though, I would strongly advise a CPU/mobo upgrade for you.

Thanks for your reply ... I installed the game but unfortunately it didn't work and I returned to the desktop after the black screen arrived.

In the meantime I have done very well with Rage 2 with this cpu (q9400)

I chose to rename boot_pc.bik and boot_console.bik files that are in the installation foler "\base\bink\boot".

It is the only solution I found if you bought the Bethesda Launcher version of the game.
