Game crashes right after startup videos

Verify game integrity
Go to <path-to-game>. Delete or rename steam_api.dll and steam_api64.dll. Find the game in the Library, then Right Click on it. Select Properties, Local Files, then push the Verify Integrity of Game Cache... button.

Close Steam fully Delete or rename <path-to-game>\bin\SniperElite3.exe Delete or rename <Steam-folder>\steamapps\appmanifest_238090.acf, <Steam-folder>\depotcache\238093*.manifest and <Steam-folder>\appcache\appinfo.vdf Start Steam and Install Sniper Elite 3 Notes It should redownload some files and after starting the game the second time after doing all of this, it should work again.

Cannot join or create a co-op lobby

Verify game integrity
Find the game in the Library, then Right Click on it. Select Properties, Local Files, then push the Verify Integrity of Game Cache... button.

Run the game at screen refresh rate

Rebellion's Asura engine may default the monitor's refresh rate to 60 Hz, resulting in reduced smoothness on high refresh rate monitors even if internal GPU render shows a high FPS.

Set refresh rate manually[citation needed]
Use the -hz=120 command line argument, where 120 is the screen refresh rate.
