Sid Meier's Civilization V is the fifth installment of the classic Turn Based strategy game series Civilization, developed by Firaxis.
Disabling the Starting Cinematic
A lot of people find this annoying. This tweak will not shorten the time the game launches in, as the game will show you a black screen for the small while that the cut scene would have been in.
Nevertheless, to do this:
- go to documents/my games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5
- Open the UserSettings.ini file.
- Set SkipIntroVideo = 0 instead of 1.
